Oh dear, so much to update now...with the ducks leaving I've had so little time to get anything done. So, a lot of pictures here to compensate.
A couple Sundays ago I had Samson in the nursery, and despite all the new sights, sounds, smells...the different kinds of "people" (Samson is around adults here at home), he knew just how to act around the babies, and did not play rough or jump on them or anything. I don't think I really even needed the leash. He would sit down and let the kids come up to him, or perhaps maybe stretch out just a little bit, and lick their hand with the tip of his tongue. Amidst all these new things he was still able to do sit, down, stay, come.
I need to write more often as I know there are stories I wanted to write down and completely forgot to...
Anyway his vet appointment for his next round of shots is tomorrow. It was supposed to be last week but his vet was sick.
I have a pretty BIG scratch on me...picture shown...he was very enthusiastic to greet me one morning. The picture does not show it but the scratch also goes clear down my arm. I didn't notice how deep it had gone until much later that day...hehe... He will be getting his claws trimmed tomorrow. I also have claw marks on my neck from that morning :). Samson has one ear up and one ear down now...well, half up/half down, at any rate. By next week they should be touching in the center of his head, hehe.
Since last I wrote he got to meet my older sister (Bethany) who is living at college right now and my dad, who drives semi trucks for a living, so he hasn't been home lately.
Some of the pictures may be a little blurry; it is hard to get good indoor pictures of him as I hate how the flash taints the color of the image, and he moves around so much that it is hard to get a solid picture of him without using the flash.
